Manchester Square is an 18th century garden square in the Marylebone area in London, England. The beautiful garden square was named after the Duke of Manchester and was laid out in 1776. In the twentieth century, the square became somewhat of a gathering place for true art lovers as the famous Hertford House (museum of French art) was located right on the square. The Sthrling Original Manchester Series draws inspiration from the artistry and beauty of the well preserved Georgian square of the same name. Now, the newest model in the series, the Manchester Ozzie combines two of Sthrling Originals all time most popular models into one! The Wizard of Oz teaches us about imagination, excitement and adventure -- that sometimes its okay to escape from the things that are familiar to us and to take a chance on something unknown. Sthrling Original offers the Manchester Ozzie as a great addition to that journey. The single most distinguishing factor of the Manchester Ozzie is the large oversized square case. Milled from solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel, the case is anatomically curved and befitted with a curved Krysterna crystal and curved screw down exhibition case-back as well. The case-back also hosts a Krysterna crystal, is made from 316L steel, and has been decorated magnificently. In true artistic fashion, the case has become a work of art itself, with the polished convex bezel creating a beautiful step design and with decorative pins in the form of screw heads on the lugs. The solid end-piece on the strap makes for a look of complete integration. No Sthrling masterpiece would be complete without proud dial-work to complement the design. And the Manchester Ozzie features a spectacular guilloch soleil dial. The Arabic and Roman numerals for the hour indices have all been applied to the dial and then topped with Super Luminova. The diamond cut obelisk style hands add a superb complement to the Old World regal look of this heir loom timepiece. And while the Manchester case and dial are certainly a work of art, the psychedelic design of the Manchester Ozzie with its array of rainbow colored (or monochromatic) Arabic numerals fanned out and set against a backdrop of the hydraulically pressed guilloche soleil design in the dial make for a mesmerizing timepiece that truly can fit any occasioneven the most formal of events! The Ozzie features a classic three-hand movement (hours, minutes, and seconds) with quick-set day and date indicators at the six oclock position. The man behind the curtain that is the brain and power of the Ozzie is a premium 22-jewel mechanical automatic movement which beats at a rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour and has 38 hours of autonomy. This brilliant mechanical movement has been decorated with Ctes de Genve, accented by blued steel screws, and sports a Damier finished rotor embossed with the Sthrling logo. The strap has been
